The Second Science and Non-Duality Conference (SAND) was held October 20th to 24th in San Rafael, CA. "my" presentation was on Saturday morning and was titled "Deconstructing the 'I'".
A copy of the presentation is @ Deconstructing the I SAND II.
There are now three youTube videos of different parts of the presentation;
1) "What Is An 'I', How Does It Get Built, and Who Solves Problems? - Gary Weber" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Li60kWa-qIQ,
2) "Loss of Thought and Where is the 'I' in the Brain? - Gary Weber"(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB9KQo747yc)
3) "Practices for Reaching a Thought-Free State - Discussion - Gary Weber" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJr17ulat9A)
Much discussion after talk with several folk, mostly 1/1, for virtually the remainder of the time i was in San Rafael. The message is being increasingly accepted of it being possible to live largely without thought and not only survive, but function with full effectiveness and presence without the interference of a continuously chattering, measuring, arguing and critiquing "back seat driver".
Backing this up with some current "hard" cognitive neuroscience has been critical to establishing credibility. The talks in Hong Kong which followed SAND by three weeks will be discussed subsequently, but that message was made even more explicit in those talks.
